 Silves Municipal Archaeological Museum – Silves

The Silves Municipal Archaeological Museum is a must-visit cultural site located in the heart of the historic city of Silves, in the Algarve region. Opened in 1990, the museum was built around a remarkable centerpiece — a 12th-century aljibe (Islamic cistern-well) — which is beautifully preserved and accessible to visitors.
